Circo® PP-CF
Circo® PP-CF compound is made from recycled plastic reinforced with cellulose fibre for injection moulding applications. The carbon footprint of recycled polypropylene is 70% lower compared to virgin plastic. Cellulose fibre binds biogenic carbon, making the compound carbon neutral at best. Not only is the material an environmentally friendly option, but it also meets the technical, aesthetic and haptic requirements of demanding applications.
The PP-CF series is available with different properties. The main variable is the amount of cellulose fibre, with both rough and fine versions available. Superior sustainability is achieved through a combination of PCR plastics and carbon negative renewable content. Circo PP-CF materials allow for a low cycle time and enable the production of lighter-weight stiff parts compared to conventional materials, which can improve profitability. With the Circo PP-CF materials you can avoid sink marks and the shrinkage can be controlled.
